What's the last bit of stupidity that YOU witnessed?

People who want school vouchers. How someone can sacrifice other children to help their own, I don't know. But teachers always have opinions about these things. Lots of parents I know were Republicans for years before they had a special needs child and tried to get services, then they, miraculously, turned Democrat.

A driver on a four lane high speed artery swerve from the high speed lane almost causing an unbelievable amount of damage to the cars he cut across, just to go off on an exit ramp. Damn fool should have been in the right hand lane far enough back that he could gracefully exit without making the whole world look out for him.

My husband and I went 'up north' for a drive and to buy some fresh corn. We came across a wonderful corn field and as we were passing it we noticed that the farmers had planted a few rows of sunflowers right in the middle of the corn field. We doubled back to buy our corn and I commented to the woman who served me about the beautiful sunflowers. She said "Oh yes, I hear they're lovely". I asked "Haven't you seen them?' She replied, "No, I live the other way." We're talking 200 feet in the other direction folks!!!!! One of the reasons we have decided not to move 'up north'.

A man (questionable, as to whether he was human) had a new puppy on a leash. He took the puppy with him when he drove to a pizza joint to order a pizza, to go. He decided to teach his puppy a new routine while waiting for the pizza. He walks his puppy across the six-lane (busy) street, so he can teach his puppy to "cross a busy highway, without getting hurt." He tells his puppy to "stay", then walks back across the street. Then he proceeded to call for the puppy to cross the street.

Ready for me to stop this story?

The puppy was happy to join his master. He rushes out in the street, and gets run over immediately. The guy waits for the traffic to pass, then walks out to his dog. He grabs the dog's leash, and drags the puppy to the side of the street, by it's leash. He stops and thinks for a minute (or maybe he was doing something else, because the process of thinking takes a brain, I understand). Then he proceeded to drag his dog, by the leash, over to the Pizza store dumpster. He heaved the dog inside. The the guy goes back into the pizza store to pick up his pizza. He tells the pizza guys to "have a nice day". The pizza guys are outraged. They call the police. The police come out and say there is nothing they can do. The guy "didn't break the law". So the pizza guys call the t.v. news station and tells them the story. The news that evening covers the story, including the fact the police just walked away. The public outcry was massive. Next day the police do press charges against him, for improper disposal of an animal.

True story, right here in the city, last week. Isn't there a special place in heaven or hell for people like that?

Oh. my. God. That is the worst thing I've heard in a long time. I think the best punishment for this person would be to blindfold him and make him walk across the same street. If he is that unbelievably cruel, perhaps the dog has been spared a long life of other tortures. Good thinking on the pizza guys' part to call the tv station.
