Sorry, Bill, I should have mentioned that you will be nominated for a Dove award. I too am a professional singer, appearing in Broadway and off broadway shows. I was a singer and actress before becoming a minister. I love your selections WOW! I wanted to add, I have been listening to Yolanda Adams new CD every morning. Hey, maybe we can get Jerryl to be our music director for an "upcoming CD" I know Rev. John can sing, so he will have to be on it also. What about Pastor Al Paris, somehow, I know he can sing too! Love to all the saints. Denise

WOW! This is a hard question. I have a number of songs that truly inspire me as well as the anointed people who I have heard sing them over the years. My favorite hymn that truly moves me when I am in a time of need or reflection is "How Great Thou Art" #68 AMEC.

"On Christ the Solid Rock I stand, All other ground is sinking sand..." I sing that when I seek reassurance for any decision I have made. Then I am at "Peace Like a River..." because I know that "He Touched Me."

I love the Hymns of the Church. My favorite one is "Saviour More Than Life To Me "

Last sunday I sang the song "Wade in the Water" in church. I have not sung this song in years. It is such an inspirational song, because it is a song about trusting God! When the Israelites were chased to the Red Sea by Pharoh's army, they trusted God and Moses, that the sea would be parted. When we venture forth in life, such as "wading in the water" God parts the water and protects us from harm. Rev. Denise Rogers

In South Africa and Namibia some of our hymns have been translated into many other languages. If Bishop James should set foot in S.A., he would probably sing "Ndikhokele, o yehova!"(Guide me,O Thou Great Jehova). One of my favourites I like to sing in Afrikaans"Hoor my siel, dit is die Heer" (Hark,my soul,it is the Lord) God Bless.
