The Virginia State Fair gets into full swing this weekend in Richmond. The dairy goat exhibition/competition is scheduled for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. I'll be there with my family and our goats. Does anyone else plan to attend?

You betcha! I will be the ring steward for the shows. I was the ribbion girls last yr and had to wear this funny hat:):) I raise Alpines so we can't arrive to Thur or late Wed to get in. What kind of goats do you raise? I'll look forward to meeting you if you are in the dairy! And... LOTS of GOOD LUCK!! PS... my coffee pot is always on and we are planning on cooking some yummy and fast meals!

Berniece, I look forward to meeting you! My sons raise 4-H Nubians and this will be their first State Fair experience (mine, too!). We are still very new to goat raising since we've been doing this for only one and a half years. I'd love to stop by "your place" at the Fair and chat about goats, etc. See you there!
