Moral has gone up since we started our teams. Currently we have four teams working on different projects. If you would like a copy of these projects let me know.

Laurelle, In my company we use a lot of task force teams to solve problems. They are usually small groups of 3 to 8 members who are asked to come up with a proposal to present to the management team. We have found this to be very successful because a small group can make decisions with less discussion time than a large group would need. Usually the leader is someone who is already competent in the particular area under discussion or he/she has some great new ideas. Hope this helps.

Several types of teams exist. One classification scheme uses a sports analogy. some teams work like baseball teams wiht set responsibilities, other teams work like footrball teams through coordinated action, and still other teams work doubles tennis teams with primary yet flexible responsibilities.
