Do you see a disparity between the way you view yourself and the way you are viewed by others? Do you feel you are really someone different than the person they know?

most people offline don't have a clue who i really am. i don't let many "real life" people know that i'm a multiple. so yes, i do see a disparity between the way i view myself and the way i am viewed by most others. it's only my closest friends who know the real me. and my online friends and readers know the real me even better than some of those "real life" people. it's not that i'm so different, but that they don't know about the others who are different from me...

It's seems like the more I try to let people peer at me through the mirror, the wierder and stranger they find me. Sometimes I feel so perfectly average and normal...and then I open my mouth and begin speaking. Then they see or hear someone and I don't know where that person comes from. I couldn't talk enough or be silent enough or say the best words or walk a certain way that would enlighten everyone to who I am. In fact, who the hell am I anyway. To answer your question before you update again, I feel I am very different then the person they all know. I feel perfectly calm in my head..perfectly controlled and I feel like they all see a spastic, stressed out, obsessive compulsive, rigid, nervous person. I need duck tape. Someone tranquilize me. ;o) At least my jokes crack me up. I guess that's all I can ask for.

Yeah, definetely. I think people think me a little odder then I actually am. I mean, I am not that crazy. Pretty down to earth I think. But this is a moot point perhaps...of course we all see ourselves differently then others see us. Because they don't know us as well as we know us. They cannot possibly know everything that is inside, no matter how close, another peson cannot fully experience YOU. Thus, the different visions.

what other people actually see...well, it's the watered down version.
