Is there any word on the status of Bishop and Mrs. Ming? Are they well and have they relocated as of yet? Where can get well wishes be sent to them?

Jerome, I have not heared any new news, but I have sent a quick email to try to get a status for you. The number to the office at First District Plaza is (215) 662-0506 They should be able to tell you something or give you an address to send a card if you would like. You may also just want o send well wishes to the Bishop's office.

It is with great sadness that I have learnt of the passing away of Mrs Edith Ming, today 06 September 2000. I joined the AME in 1976 and Bishop & Mrs Ming appointed to South Africa accepted my as a son of theirs during my time of trials and tributlation. It has been ever since that they made every effort to make contact with me when in South Africa or when I visited the United States. I shall always remember her for the encouragement she she gave and the inspiration in song ... I'm Somebody. I pray that God will indeed continue to be with Bishop Ming during his time of testing and that he will have a new song to sing to the glory of the Lord. Free at last ...
