FC Jumpers for Goal Posts have beaten Premiership side Duncan's Disorderlies to collect the first silverware of the season. A hattrick from Gary Speed sealed this historic victory after Shearer had put the Disorderlies ahead.

Congratulations to Tom, manager of FC Jumpers for Goal Posts on this brilliant display, and commiserations to the Disorderlies whose fans will have to see these Speed goals on Football Focus until the end of time.

No no no. Wrong wrong wrong. You'll never match NUFC. You can't go around scoring goals in Cup Finals, you might accidentally win something then and we'd have to climb down off the moral high ground from whence we have been piddling on LR for so long.
