Nikon N80 Reviews?greenspun.com : LUSENET : Camera Equipment : One Thread |
I've searched the Nikon archives here and the stuff at photo.net for any extensive review of the N80, but don't find much. Is anyone aware of an extensive review of this camera, preferably on the web?

You can find some reviews on this site in the Nikon forum. I hope you get the corrected version of the N80 because my F80 focus point select button at the back breaks after just 2 weeks. But Nikon is prompt and the camera is replaced in fiv days. I am yet to check for the focusing and aperture problems becsuse I just got back the camera today.

I think Practical Photography, a British photo mag, may have just done a review.Unlike the American magazine, Practical Photography seems able to form opinions and to give bad reviews to products being sold by its advertiser.
As I recall, it thought pretty highly of it. For my own part, though it is very plastic-y feeling after the F100 or F5, it seems very capable.

Just out of curiousity, for those who do alot of macro photography, how do you deal with those cameras (F100, N80, Dynax 9 & 7) that don't have mirror lockup feature?
