I just got back from auction with about 500 old records .I know about ebay are there any other good auction web sites ? Alot of these are old victor red labels .Thanks

I only use eBay. Costs more than Amazon.com, but one generally gets what one pays for. You can research by searches to find the approximate value of what you have.

Saw an article in USA Today, the FTC is registering 1500+ complaints per day against on line auctions. Apparently some are in violation of mail order regulation. Check them out thoroughly to be on the safe side.
