Jesus warned about false prophets doing lying signs and wonders, but Jesus did true signs and wonders Himself. He said he would send forth prophets, wise men, and scribes. There are true prophets and false prophets. There are genuine signs and wonders, and there are lying signs and wonders.
The apostles were presecuted, and then prayed with the saints in Acts 4 that God would do signs and wonders for Christ's sake. God did. There is a legitimate place for signs and wonders. I Corinthians teaches that the Spirit gives gifts to His church.
Jesus said that we would know false prophets by their fruits. He also said He would send prophets. We see that there were many prophets in New Testament times, and that this is one of the ministries Christ received for the church when He ascended.
Paul wrote to despise no prophesyings. If we despise prophesyings we err. On the other hand, we must 'Prove all things' and 'Hold to that which is good.' Rejecting all prophesyings is not wise and is contrary to scripture.

Benny Hinn has proven himself a false prophet time and time again. And Biblically, it only takes once.
