yeah, okay, your probably thinking, its a damn jen again, asking ANOTHER question, but here goes... i heard that REM and the red hot chili peppers are quite good friends, i think they sang at the same concert didn't they? was it the tibeten freedom concert (probably wrong again, sigh). it'd be great if this was true, as i love both of these bands. anyone know anything?

Well, I know both Flea and Michael Stipe share the same influence (The ever-so-slightly good Gang of Four - both made rather complimentary comments on the liner notes of the Cd version of Entertainment.), so there is something in common between them.
