A while ago I thought of getting Icelandic sheep [3 years ago ] and with the article in countryside it has renewed my interest .The only problem is they are so expensive ! I was thing of cross breeding with hopes of having almost pure lambs in a few years .Do you know of anyone who sells semen for AI"s ? Or any breeders in St. Lawrence county N.Y. ?

I've been wanting to ask for a while, whats so special about Icelandic sheep? Im stationed over here in Iceland and I've seen about a million sheep all over the place, is it something about their wool?At any rate, if anybody wants and can steer me in the right direction maybe I can help out with getting icelandic sheep products. Im not exactly overtasked here and I'd be glad to help.

Patty, one of my customers JUST told me he is selling his entire flock; twenty-three total. We're in N.Y., so maybe I could put you two in touch? Let me know. That was a grea artical, it had me fantasizing about getting sheep from this man, also. They started out with three sheep, four years ago, and purchased two rams last year. He said it's become too much work, with everything else they are doing. BTW, it was an artical in Countryside a few years back that got them into sheep!
