Miricle Mile with Anthony Edwards. Wow. Just fricken wow.Oh, and A Boy and his Dog just for kicks.
-- Lister Von Lister (iatehitlersbrainwithasideoffries@mindspring.com), August 15, 2000.
Ooh, speaking of Crispin Glover, he was fucking fantastic in River's Edge. I don't think anyone's seen that movie but me, but damn, what a fucking great movie. Worth watching just for Crispin Glover and Dennis Hopper.Permanent Record was pretty decent as well. Kinda falls under the "cheesy 80's movie" category more than a great cult film, though.
A Boy and his Dog? Oh, hell yeah. Freaky.
Dogfight. Romper Stomper.
The list goes on, but I have meetings to go to. Dammit.

A Man of No Importance Boeing, Boeing

Well I don't know if you could call it "cult", but I think "Mallrats" from Kevin Smith is a greatly underapreciated film. It is very funny and hardly ever gets a mention, even when ppl talk about Smith.
-- John Wishbone (wishbonex@hotmail.com), August 17, 2000.
Hrm, Mallrats. I guess it could be considered a cult film... especially since a majority of Kevin Smith's fans hated it. : )

Okay, let's talk about whaked out cult films. I got three words for ya... Eat My Sh... wait, wrong three words!! What I ment to say was... (insert drumroll here)... Army of Darkness! The only movie I've ever seen (as far as horror sequals go) that I liked better than the origonal. Of course, don;t get me wrong. The first two films begged for MST3K. But AoD... long live the Campbe... I mean, king. The next winner of the totally whacked out shait award is... anything done by David Cronninberg ! Ever seen Naked Lunch? Nuff' said.
As far as totally whacked out films go, no one, but no one, does it better (or worse, depending upon your point of view) than Troma Films! They don't produce low budget, low quality rip-off movies and then try to cater them as serious entertainment, no! They produce the lowest-qualiy, lowest-budget movies in history, and they're DAMN proud of it. It looks like the shit I used to film with the camcorder when I was about 8!
If anybody out there is ever in a mood for the WORST cult movies ever made, or if you and a bunch of your friends get together and try to rent the cheesiest shit on tape (as me and my friends often do ), then here's a small list to help get ya' started:
1. Lobster Man From Mars (Quick! someone prepare the boiling water!)
2. Ozone! Attack of The Redneck Mutants! (I swear to God, it actually exists!)
3.Dead-Alive- The story of a guy, his girl, his mother, a Sumatran Rat-Monkey, a house full of the undead, and a lawn mower/portable blender.
4. Bad Taste - Hey, look at the title for christsakes!!
5. Anything with the words Killer Tomatos in the title.
Untill next time.

Recently discovered the movie "Freaks",
-- Charles Mitchell (cyke@bolt.com), January 13, 2001.
I don't know of more than 6 people that have seen this film (including me). It is called SubUrbia. It is so fucking amazing and could easily attain cult status. It has Giovanni Ribisi before he became famous and just... wow!!! It is amazing! Go rent it.
-- Ryan Connell (the_smashing_of_pumpkins@hotmail.com), February 15, 2001.
I saw subUrbia too. Quite disappointing after "Dazed and COnfused." Giovanni should keep his pants on, and Parker Posey should take Rytalin.
-- Betty Sampson (bloppers@hotmail.com), April 09, 2001.
I dunno. The only redeeming part of SubUrbia for me was Steve Zahn. The rest rates neck and neck with six thirteen year old goths trying to prove whose got it tougher in life. Shoot me.
