salsa, picante, or other tomato recipes?

I was wondering if anyone had any easy recipes for salsa, picante, ketchup or any other tomato type sauces. I don't want to use the packaged type mixes that you add to the tomatos. I already have an easy recipe for soup so I don't need that. Thanks Jean

I hope this is some help, because I never measure anything, but this is what I do for salsa

Cut up tomatoes, onions, chili or jalepenos add finely chopped cilantro If your not using it immediately, add a little lime juice to keep from browning. Sometimes I add a little garlic....not authentic, but ....

Zesty Salsa 10 cups chopped, seeded, cored, peeled tomatoes 5 cups chopped and seeded bell peppers 5 cups chopped onions 2 1/2 cups chopped and seeded hot peppers (i put to taste) 1 1/4 cups cider vinegar 3 cloves garlic minced 2 tbsp cilantro minced 3 tsp salt 1 tsp hot pepper sauce (optional) Combine ingr. and bring mixture to boil. Reduce heat and simmer 10 min. Put salsa in jars and process in BWB. (when cutting hot peppers wear gloves!!)
