Would anyone living in west central Florida like to participate in our Pioneer Day? We have a successful annual event at Chinsegut Nature Center near Brooksville and we're looking for some demonstrations/skills that we don't have yet like shoe making, old-time sewing machines, old-time photography, early orange-groving or bee-keeping, pioneer medicine/surgery, logging, pioneer games/toys, turkey wing calls, broom-making, etc. We have the basics: soap-making, carpentry, grist-mill, weaving, basketry, candle-making, turpentining, flint-knapping, etc. Thank you in advance for any suggestions.
