Lovely goal from a very excited Hughes was overshadowed by a gorgeous break, run and chip from Dyer, which showed just how difficult it is for defenders to adapt to a complete change of pace. Bit of a YBR trademark this, be it Gallacher, Domi, Dyer or Kets, and next season it will be Cordone and Cort. The game had started badly, however, with the ref following the home crowd's orders in booking Dunc and Speed on their return to Goodison.

Why is it that when anyone gripes or complains about the way this thing is set up their team always seems to end up losing a couple of key games rather heavily? I'm now looking forward to our impending relegation! :-)

Well, when I looked at that team, I thought to myself "Perfect". An almost 100%. Heh heh, slobber slobber but further checking of the results brought me down to earth with a bump on my head when I realised we weren't in the competition. Funny that. I don't remember being knocked out. Must have been the bump on my head. What time is it?
