Softie, can you remind us all of the rules and point awarding system for this part of the competition? I'm playing a team from a much higher division away from home - what chance have I?

Another away draw? Looks like I'll have to do this the hard way...!

I didn't give any consideration for teams from higher divisions in this part of the game (I have for next season) so it's just the standard +2 for the home team.

The Stottie cup is like the League Cup, hence teams arriving late and seeded. The BBSFA Cup will have 1 preliminary round of Divs 1 and 2 and then the prem thrown in for round 2. That way a lower league side will have played at least one more game than a prem side, so that's the closest they get to an advantage.

It's all a matter of having a number of opponents that divide together properly: with only 54 teams in the league, I would have had to include 10 ringers to make it up to 64 and I couldn't be arsed, so I went for exclusion from rounds for the top clubs.

Cor crikey! Glad that wasn't my lot getting in the way of that...

I now see that the only reason I got a 0-0 in the league was that QM had the first team playing in the cup!

Collector's item that one. An Andersson goal. Garbage collectors that is.
