I am looking to buy 2 new lenses for my Crown Graphic. Need some suggestions on focal length...also would like to know where to buy some new film holders...Thanks...Jeff

If these are your first lens, I would go with a 150mm and maybe a 90mm. Schneider makes great lens but if you want to save a few dollars and still get a good lens, Calumet has a line called Caltar's. Cheers

Scott's got some good suggestions. I'd like to add some advice that Stephen Shuart gave me. I bought a Kodak Ektar 203mm and love it. It is a bit of a long lens for 4x5 work, and good as a portrait lens. The one that I have will cover 8x10 and works as a wide angle lens. Its not as good for a 'do everything lens' as a 150mm, but I'd give it some thought.chuck k

Having a Graphic 4x5 myself, I like my 135 and would probably add a 75 for a wide angle. The 90 is too close for me A 90-150 combination would be ok. The 203 F7.7 Ektar is very nice, but a little faster lens would be nice for focusing. New film holders are available at B&H, but I'd buy them at Photo.net classifieds if I could find them.
