Thanks to Rev. Fishergreenspun.com : LUSENET : A.M.E. Today Discussion : One Thread |
Allow me to offer my sincere gratitude to Rev. John Fisher for providing periodic updates surrounding the events at GenCon 2000. Since I was unable to attend I had the next best thing, technology. Writing like a war correspondent covering military campaigns, Rev. Fisher's journalistic committment made it possible and easy for us to keep in touch, albeit with delayed broadcasts. The timely information thru this website enabled me to have a vicarious but valuable experience. In particular I appreciated his unedited commentaries and the ability to be fair and objective. Agian, many thanks.

Rev. Fisher,It was a great opportunity for those of us here in New York City to attend the GenCon 2000 without having to leave NY. I want to thank you for this opportunity and those of us here in the New York Conference of the 1st Episcopal District thank you.

The distance readers of the tenth join in the kudos. Although I called my wife daily, and she was kind enough to let me listen to Bisshop McKenzie's remarks by phone, you can imagine the cost impacts. :-) Thank you, Rev. Fisher, for supplementing those calls with on-line detail. I have appreciated it.
