Has the woman who does the voice of Aeon done anything else? Is she an actress? That haas to be the sexiest voice I have ever heard.

She does Ryoko

Frostbite, one of the original herd, who is Ryoko?
-- Barb e. (Suesuesbeo@aol.com), July 12, 2000.
Ryoko is the sexy chick from Tenchi Muyo. I have'nt seem it but now that I know Denise is the voice actor for that character...well it certainly is encouraging. I have been meaning to see it. For the popularity of Ryoko is intriguing. Just from looking at her the character you would not know she is really cool. It must be the voice ;-)

For once you got it wrong, Frostbite...
-- Paul (gilbreathfamily@worldnet.att.net), July 13, 2000.
Kidding, kidding...
-- Frostbite (mbkrooks@bellsouth.net), July 13, 2000.
That was my suspicion all along, I just had to have you confirm it. After all, it's not like you to make mistakes.

Hee Hee, ah, well, you know...

Denise actually appeared in an episode of Seinfeld...although I can't remember which. I believe the internet movie database (www.imdb.com) mentions it.

Interesting Quote of the Day: "Ever wondered what it would be like if the cast of Tenchi Muyo! cast off their inhibitions and got it on with each other (assuming, of course, that Tenchi is actually straight)? Sure, we all have. Well, Spaceship Agga Ruter: Troublemaker is about as close as you're going to get this side of pornographic doujinshi to seeing this happen."

OK, I've finally seen Tenchi Muyo on TV, with my own eyes, and I have a confession to make: I thought it was HORRIBLE. Don't get me wrong, I love the show, but the English translation & dubbing (handled by Aeon voice director Jack Fletcher, how's that for irony) ranks among the worst I have ever heard. Matt K. Miller cannot act! Whose nephew is he, anyway? And if this pain wasn't enough, they've started to show the "Universe" series, which is a pale imitation of the original Tenchi Muyo. Add censorship, and you have a show I'm not going anywhere near. Sorry, folks. If you're still interested, go rent the movies instead, there's already 3 of `em and I hear 3 is a real tear-jerker. Apologies to anyone I suckered into watching this.

I don't understand why you loved it and now hate it, is it a different version? When is it on and is it a channel I can get here in Phoenix, (I want to hate it too), ha ha, and another thing I don't understand, when I went to rent it they told me it was an old show out of print, how can you rent the movie then?
-- Barbei (Suesuesbeo@aol.com), July 22, 2000.
Oh, the movies aren't out of print, I can get them almost anywhere. My neighborhood video store even has the old episodes, but then it's LA, everybody has seen everything here. If you are determined to watch it on TV (and BTW, it's not just the voices, the writing is mangled too), then it comes on at 6:00 PM (West Coast time), every Friday. Just don't say I didn't warn you...
-- Paul (gilbreathfamily@worldnet.att.net), July 22, 2000.
Hmm, that reminds me, I should rent those tapes again.
-- Paul (gilbreathfamily@worldnet.att.net), July 22, 2000.
Paul, thanks! I actually found it in tv guide, I never watch tv and I haven't read tv guide in years, but there it was. As bad as it is at least I can check out the art. BTW, the art in that Galaxy Express in one scene had a snow scene, and to this day I found it to capture the isolation and inexplicable depth of loneliness that a snowstorm at night can give a person.

Matt K. Miller? Is that the really nasal guy who does Tenchi?
-- Frostbite (mbkrooks@bellsouth.net), July 23, 2000.
That's the one. Talk about phoning in your performance...
