Can someone help me? My "daughter" (a 15yo girl I adopted in a chat room about 2 years ago) is searching for a church in the Marinette, Wisconsin/Menominee, Michigan area. Anyone know of a good Christian church in that area? Thanks!

Apparently not. I found out from others outside this forum that the nearest Christian churches are 60 miles south in Green Bay or 55 miles the other way to the north. *Sigh* Well, I'll just have to pray she finds a decent church home. But I am sure she will do alright. She reminds me of a Cassie Bernal or Rachel Scott. She is very much a Berean and has left 2 churches already because their teaching didn't square with the Bible, and she is about to leave a third (it seems a lot of the members are somewhat enamoured with Benny Hinn). She went to a Hinn crusade (I call them "concerts") and when she got home she immediately took up her Bible and began comparing everything she saw. Oh for that spirit in more believers today! She makes her daddy [me] proud. =)

WMCA (I can't find out what that represents) plants churches in Wisconsin and the UP of Michigan. I check their site (www.wmca.net) and they have planted a church in Escanaba MI, about 40 miles from Menominee. Their staff might know of churches they didn't plant in the area. Give them a try.
