Wahts the meaning of the great song 'Cuyahoga'

Cuyahoga is a river in America which once so polluted that it used to catch fire!!!That is what the line;"burn this river down", means. But the song is much deeper than that as it about the early settlers coming to America and destroying the culture of the native american indians:various lines reflect this like-"this is where we walked..." and "we are not your allies".It is a fantastic song, hope this helps!

I reckon its also about the damage the public/tourists can do to an natural area, particularly if everyone takes something from it, if they 'take a souvenir'.

Just to add to what Mark had to say, in my opinion the line 'take a picture here.. tak a souvernir' means like if you take a picture of the land as it was, it will be like taking a souvenir as the land is now being affected and will never be the same as it was in the past Amit B
