At our farmers market about an hour from here we have a guy who brings most anything he can find or make to the market--he seems to sell out! He is smart enough to have his wife have recipes & ideas of how to use what he brings. Sonda in Ks.

This doesn't answer your question, but there's a movie you might want to watch, I got it from a small town library, that has to do with wildcrafting. It's not an educational movie, just a nice one that deals with kids that get by by wildcrafting. And a book by Gene Straton-Porter or is that Gene Porter-Staton, something like that. The Harvester. It's not educational either, but the main character wildcrafts and sells to pharmacies for a living(turn of the century or there abouts). She also wrote Girl of the Limberlost with is an excellent book and movie. Just thought you might be interested. There's a Sassafras Festival in Vernon, In. in April. I have a sassafras jelly rec. I raise lots of herbs, but I don't know how to go about making money from them. I might try that farmer's market idea.

Well, I guess I could tell you the name of the movie. Where the Lilies Bloom. That's better.

Cindy, my cousin sells all her herbs to the bed & breakfasts in her area! As they cook really nice meals for the guests--& like to use organic veggies & herbs. The B&B's do lots of special cattering events. When, I get my herbs better established & have more time, I'm going to try the private market of the B & B's in my area. Sonda in Ks.
