Recently saw a hydro with vegatable oil as hydro fluid. Semiconductor mfg area demands this I suppose due to possible airborne contaminates from petroleum products. This is my guess anyway. Anyone seen vegatable oil, maybe corn oil. Thanks. dac

the reason for vegetable oil is for in case there is a underground rupture the ground water table is not contaminated with petroleum products .because veggie oil is bio degradeable
