What book did you totally love?greenspun.com : LUSENET : Blowing Bubbles : One Thread |
As you can likely see, i am completely enamored of Bridget Jones and all her flaws and insecurities and so on. She feels like such a real person instead of a fictional character. I refer to her as "Bridget", not as "a character in that book i'm reading". She cracked me up when she would write:7:45 a.m. - am giving up smoking as it is repulsive habit. 9:05 a.m. - just finished 6th fag (cigarette). oh god.
What book did you totally adore?

"The Demon-Haunted World" by Carl Sagan-best book I've ever read. You know it is good when a non-fiction, high tech book won't let you put it down-it is a pity all the people who spend their life devoted to the Bible won't switch to this book-it would be a much nicer world. Given the report in New Scientist on Creation Science, this book should be mandatory reading in Canada and the US..
