James Ludwell Carpenter, B-1792 in Stanly County, NC, is my Great, Great, Great Grandfather (through Silas Jenkins - Nancy Yow marriage around 1880s). I am looking for any and all info to add to my present collection. I am mainly interested in finding parents of James Ludwell. I believe their names to be John and Eleanor, but it is not a proven fact. If anyone has anything I can add, please email me. Thanks so much for taking the time to read this and for your help!

I am also a descendent of James Ludwell Carpenter. My grandmother was Daisy Lee Duke d/o William S. Duke and Saphronia Carpenter d/o of Williamson Carpenter & Sarah McIntyre.
