I read somewhere that Michael has wrote a book (I cant remember what its called). I was just wondering if anyone has read it and do they recommend I try to get a hold of it. Also what is it about? Thanks.

As far as I know there are to books that Michael has got a surtain attachment too. The one is "2 times on the road with patti smith".the second one is "the haikuu years", which Michael only contributed some poems. The first one though is all made by him.It`s more a picture book really. A lots of photos by Michael of Patti. But also,If I`m not mistaken there are some writing on how it was to be one of Patti Smiths roadies. Which he occationly was. I haven`t read either one of them.So whether you should get them or not.I can`t say. I may have gotten some names or info wrong but I think I covered the basics.If not,please do correct me. I hope this helped all the same.

the photo book is actually called 2 times intro on the road with patti smith. its basically a photo diary through michael's eyes on one of patti's first tours since god knows when. i think its super cool, it also has writings by such people as william burroughs, thurston moore, and of course michael (plus many more that i cant remember at the moment) talking about patti's influence on their life and how grand she is. i havent read the haiku year one yet. from what i've read it sounds cool. i guess 4 or 5 people (including michael and i think grant lee) wrote one haiku a day for a year and sent them around to each other, wow what a splendid idea.

Michael wrote 2 books: the 2st it's a book of photography titled "2 times intro: on the road with Patti Smith" and the 2nd is "The haiku year", where he contribuite with some haikus (there r also haiku from Grant Lee Phillips). Now that's all folk. Bye!
