Do you tend to over-analyze things, or is it just me?

It's female nature to over-analyze shit. I do it, my sister does it, my mom, my friends, etc.

i dont think i over-analyze things... i could but i just might not realize it. usually im too tired and lazy to analyze things, let alone over-analyze it.

I definatly over-analyze things.. But, It's sort of neat.. It makes you a more observant/perseptive person. =)

Hi. My name is Kirsten and I am an over-analyzer. Heh. :) Yeah... I do it all the time and it bugs the shit out of me. I can't remember what it was like to NOT over-analyze everything. I make myself upset over things that are just plain out pathetic. Blah.

It's not a trait that's limited to females, either. Guys do it too... at least those of us who think about more than just sex and beer. I tend to take any situation I'm in and immediately assume the worst and start worrying about it.

I always overanalyze everything. it's one of my top traits that drives people crazy and away from me! plus, I have obsessive habits and think every phrase is someone says is something against me..well, most of the time. if it seems out of character, I can tell something is wrong.then there will come that lovely phrase, "ooh you're just overanalyzing it. there's nothing wrong." and I wanna pull my hair out! heh.

Heck yeah, I over-analyse things. Neurotic as hell, that's me.

I think everyone, male and female, does it, but girls say it out loud more than guys do. But then again, if you're close to a guy, you notice they say stuff too...I'll never forget the time during my senior year of high school when we got back our class pics, and I walked out to my car with one of my best guy friends, Mike. I'm having my usual conniption of my lack of photogenic genes, and he's totally silent. Next thing I know, he's going, "Do you think my hair looked ok there?" LOL...nothing like that to help you put things in perspective =)

Okay, so I'm not the only one who over-analyzes. But do you ever start thinking, "What if subconsciously, I'm doing this or this?" I'm always worrying about my freaking subconscious. It's fun... good way to drive yourself nuts.

I over-analyze. All the time. Someone once told me "I don't think you could obsess over anything." Yes, it's true, I was obsessing over HIM at the time. I had to laugh.Your worries about children interest me, because I think about those same things a lot. I've decided never to have kids, by the way.

i am over-analytical as fuck. don't even get me started. hmph.

I tend to worry about things way too much for my own good. I guess girls just are more vocal when it comes to things they worry about? It's a really bad habit, I know that much.

I'm not as bad as I used to be. These days, I see hidden significances in everything, but since I don't usually like what I see, I tell myself, "Zed, you're overanalysing" and push those thoughts out of my mind. I'm only too aware of what my subconscious is up to, though.
