Do you watch the news at all, or just when something big is happening? What channel(s) do you watch?

I usually only watch it when I've watched something else late at night and feel too exhausted to leave the room and go to bed. Mostly because I don't have time and I hear it on the radio every weekday on the way home from work, anyway. However, they usually put the more interesting stories on at the end, which means the journey sometimes finishes before I can hear them. And I have been known to run (up a hill, at that) from where I get dropped off, just so I get home to hear them.

I'm a news junkie. What channels do I watch? What channels don't I watch. We just recently got FOXNEWS and MSNBC, so now I watch CNN, FOXNEWS, MSNBC, CNBC, and occasionally ESPNEWS. Of course, there are also ABC, CBS, NBC, but frankly I don't like their coverages as much as a real news channel's.

I despise FoxNews. I'll watch it if there's nothing else on (like say, if I want to watch the news but CNN is showing a business program and MSNBC is showing "Time and Again," or something) but otherwise, ughghghgh!!!

I think the news is neat. I LOVE Fox news!!! I watched all the crap about Microsoft too. I think it's sort of lame because they should just leave bill gates the fuck alone. I'm not a fan of him or anything but I think by splitting up microsoft, WE are the ones that are gonna suffer. That's like taking a big swing at technology with a ice pick or something. =( I like watching like, the school shootings and serial killler shit on the news. when stories like that break. It's the whole violence sells thing. I buy. I watched the whole columbine thing last year. Cheering like, I HOPE THE SHOOTERS are still there!! I HOPE SOMETHIng happens on camera and all that... ok, I'm a sicko.. But in answer to your question.. yeah, I watch the news quite a bit.. Plus Yahoo! news is great when I dont feel like leaving the computer... =)

I usually watch the news at 10 on the local NBC station. I only watch CNN, etc. if something big is going on, because that means I have to go out to the big screen.... I don't have cable in my room ^_^

I usually watch CNN and sometimes flip to CNN International as well as CNBC, and perhaps for human interest ABC News or something out of boredome. But I prefer CNN, and I always will.

I grew up watching "Good Morning America" -- it's what my mom had on every morning before I got ready for school. "Today" now has the honor of being my morning show, though. I stopped watching GMA after Charlie Gibson left, and when he came back I was already hooked on Matt Lauer (drool).Spencer isn't the weather guy anymore? Sheesh. I used to love how he'd find all his stupid jokes funny when no one else did. Or maybe that was someone else, I can't remember.

I try and catch Headline News once a day. If it says that someting big is happening I'll watch the newschannels for the rest of the day. If I catch a newschannel during a breaking news story, I'll watch for hours.During the trials for the Oklahoma City bombing I was glues to news programs for a few hours a day.

How could I forget about Headline News? I like reading the little scroll bar on the bottom, they have hilarious stuff sometimes. Like once, I read that this elderly lady in Kansas died from choking on her dentures. Well, it was sad, but kinda funny. I guess I'm sick like that.
Today has always been my favorite morning talk show. I can't tell you how happy I am that they are making it an extra hour long. Of course, there are very few days in which I actually catch the show since I'm a bum. With this extra hour, I may be able to catch the last hour, so yay!
