I live in West Central Indiana (about 30 miles west of Indpls). We have a small newspaper that comes out weekly that's always loaded with ads for small acreages. If you would e-mail me with your specs (price/acreage wanted/house, etc.) I will be happy to scout the paper for you. Also, you might want to try www.mibor.com. That's the web site for the local Board of Realtors. It has listings for about seven or eight counties in the Central Indiana area. Good luck!

Take a look in Carrol County in Ohio----still some pretty good prices if you're lucky, and beautiful country. Carrollton is a wonderful little village with a good school system--it's growing tho, so don't wait too long to check it out.

Is 32 acres big enough? Does it have to have a house?, or are you wanting to build? We have one. It is fenced with new high tensil and has a pond. Nice access, in Center Township in Monroe County, OH.

We are definately small town.

We are going to sell it. Too far from where we live to be practical.

Ohio has a population density of 264.9 persons per square mile. Western Pennsylvania (Pittsburgh Metro) is densly populated and is putting price pressure on Eastern Ohio Counties (Jefferson, Harrison, Carrol, Belmont) Also, the terrain is very hilly, so you'd have to be in very good health to be climbing around your property out here. I live in Steubenville, Oh. Land running $2500 to $3000 an Acre in Jefferson and Harrison Counties.

I'd suggest going WEST from Indiana, not East.
