Hello,

I do not have a complete steam roster, in the style of Prince, for CofG steam power.

CofG Mountain-Type #483 is listed in the Central of Georgia album as being build by Richmond in 1919. Had 69 inch drivers, but the book does not include cylinders, weight, or tractive effort. Does anyone have this information available and know the disposition of the locomotive.

Did the Central use mountain type locomotives primarily on passenger trains? If so, were they used on some name trains more than others?

Will appreciate any information available?

Thanks, Rick, that's just the kind of information I am looking for. I have a picture of the locomotive from R.D. Sharpless which I plan to use in an exhibit at the Southeastern Railway Museum, and wanted to have the correct details.
