QRS !!What a great website , and from what I`ve downloaded, a great band !! And I must say what great quality also ! I also love the Celtic Art section !
Do your band do a version of ' The Lonesome Boatman' ??? Thats my favourite instrumental Irish Folk song of all time. And as I`m an avid Celtic F.C supporter....I assume you guys play ' The Fields of Athenry' ? Oh, well done on 'Spancil Hill' ! ( another of my favourites ! ). Give my regards to the rest of the band.
Slan, ALEX

Hmm... Spancil Hill... didn't know that that was a traditional Irish song. Yes, just call me ignorant, I don't mind. :-)Just that one of my favourite artists, Hazel O'Connor has done versions of both "Danny Boy" and "Spancil Hill".
Time for me to try and find the originals then... if only I knew who did the very first versions... (?)
Cheers, Ben Jos.

Thanks Alex! Spancill Hill is one of my favorites too...No we don4t have Fields of Of Antenry (but it is a great song!) neither The lonesome boatman... but that is a great song as well!
I have worked hard the last month on my tinwhistle and 5-string banjo while the rest of the band have played in a musical here in Sweden... (Evita)
Soon we will start to collect some "new" songs and why not any of those??
The only song we sing wich are realted to celtic is "Celtic symphony" with the Wolfetones.. I4m sure you know wich one I mean Alex!
By the way I play the tinwhistle and are one of the leadsinger. (It is my voice you hear in Spancill Hill.)
Thanks again for your kind words Alex!
Ben jos: Spanchil Hill and the Danny boy is trad Irish folksongs. Never heard about Hazel o4Connor though but as I love to hear more versions of Spancill Hill I will have a loook in my musicstore on monday!
