my road island reds are losing feathers on back and sides and bottom.what is the problem... thanks for any info

I agree with what the others said. They're probably also moulting. If they aren't free-ranged, give them some dirt with a bit of fine sand and wood ashes to bathe in. That will help them get rid of external parasites. Gerbil
