How does the Beseler 45MCR differ from the later M's? Are there significant differences such as stability and sturdiness, or minor differences such as where controls are mounted?

My very old 45M appears to be almost identical to the diagrams on the Beseler web site, and to the newer ones I've seen in the local photo store. Structurally they should be the same, but I don't have hands on experience with both new and old. IMHO, this is a much better machine than the their smaller ones.
