Genealogy Researchgreenspun.com : LUSENET : A.M.E. Today Discussion : One Thread |
I am in the process of doing genealogy research on my family and am looking for information. Hopefully someone here will be able to assist me. (1) I am looking for the address/telephone number of St. Paul AME Church in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; and,(2) How does one determine whether a person was an Minister within the AME Church? I am looking for information on a Rev. Dr. John Calvin SCARBOROUGH. He was listed as my Grandmother's Uncle in a news article about her wedding.
Thank you for any information or assistance that you could provide.

Hello P. ChittamsI'm not an expert on the A.M.E. church history. But I do know if you are looking for certain addresses and gather information on persons, then Pittsburgh Locators/Bookert Detective Agency may be able to assist you by obtaining past addresses and employment information on persons. Should you be interested in their services, they can be reached at #412-798-7717 (ask for Paul Bookert) mailing address: P.O. Box 10523, Pittsburgh, PA. 15235 I hope it will be helpful to you. Have a nice day.
