I am new to CountrySide and would like to communicate with other homesteaders in the centrial Texas area. Of special interest would be anyone raising rabbits and worms together. I am also interested in any enterprise taht can be sustained on very small peices of property.

I am trying to get started in homesteading however I am renting a room on a 88 acre ranch in Liberty Hill, Texas approx 35 miles to Austin. I'm thinking of growing some crops and maybe getting some chickens...any suggestions, people?
