Hello, all!

I hope all is well with you. Though I havent heard from some of you lately, (perhaps this is as it should be) I think about you every day. The publication process for the Toilet Paper Chronicles: Gallows Humor from the Y2k Underground continues to progress, although recently, someone suggested I should give it another title. A good suggestion that is under consideration. Your input is welcome.

As an aside--and a reminder for some of you--when the original publication date of this book was announced last fall, I was flooded with phone calls from book chains wanting to know when they could place an order, whether or not I would give them a discount, etc.

That special word discount is an interesting term for all e-commerce merchants, especially those who might endeavor to sell books in whatever form they may eventually arrive in the marketplace. This partially represents, of course, the evolution of the publishing world. What a difference seven active years of the Internet has made!

As some of you may also know however, when the original publication date of this book was announced, I was flooded with emails from people who were concerned that my book would make them look like tin-foil hat" lunatics. I also received a substantial number of communications from people who thought I was an absolute blockhead for taking the Y2k threat issue seriously in the first place.

Well.

Having never anticipated such a diverse reaction, it was time to sit back and take a breath. I am still breathing. Thank God. I assume the rest of you have been able to retain the same status.

Now, having said all of that, in the course of other work today, I ran across an interview that I thought might be interesting reading for all of you who plan to vote in this years Presidential election.
