Store images - during long tripsgreenspun.com : LUSENET : Imaging Resource Discussion : One Thread |
Hi All,Is there any accessory available to store the images from the camera to something for time being if we don't have access to PC (During long trips etc..) other than buying extra large memory flash(storage)cards?

If you're going to take a TON of pics the best solution is a tiny cheap laptop. I've done that a few times... On my trip to greece I bought two 32MB cards to supplement my 64MB one, and left the laptop at home. I didn't even need them, just sold them on Ebay for more than I paid. Some people use the "clik", but personally I think it sucks, it only takes 40MB cards, and the cost could go a long way towards a cheap used laptop.

will there be a smaller version (smaller capacity about 2-4gb) that you might be considering? It just makes it more affordable...

This is a killer, exciting product. Looks like they did this right, unlike the bozos who did clik drives. You guys could kill clik if you are fast with good marketing.
