I posted a question here a long time ago looking for help taking pictures through my telescope with my digital camera, here's what I have to report back.... I just wanted to relay some of my experiences at astrophotography with a digital camera. Since my Kodak DC210 doesn't have a threaded lens I couldn't use any of the standard adapters available. I tried using a tripod with the camera mounted on it and pointed into the eyepiece but found it almost impossible since the telescope is slowly tracking the sky. Hand holding the camera was very difficult and frustrating with most images coming out blurred. After searching the web I found the Scopetronics digital camera adapter and ordered it. The device is relatively simple in design and use. I looks like it will fit just about any digital camera made and works with any scope since it attaches to the eyepiece. The first night out I got some pretty good pics of the moon and saturn. It was pretty easy and fun! Now I just need a bigger telescope! I took the pictures below through a 4.5" reflector.
