Serious request

I need help. Do you have a young person or young married adults in your church who would be willing to teach in VBS and do door to door calling with a team of young people? In July in a church in a black neighborhood in Atlanta??. They would have to come at their own expense but we will house them and feed them and be responsible for all local transportation.

Training

I have two very qualified men one has a good wife and 5 children and the other has a masters degree in business who are now in college level classes. They are taking homeletics. Others may join them in the classes. I am teaching also a class in Genesis and one in Acts. Pray for us. Some one come and help!

Hello, Fred,

I wish I could help you, but I need to stay near my husband who has had diabetes for 44 years now (he will be 72 on May 10th); and has had a few complications in the past couple of years; also he is just getting through prostate cancer therapy.

I have to be here at times when he might have a low blood sugar reading, (right before meals) because with neuropathy he seems not to know, as he did when younger, whether his blood sugar is low. We've had a couple of bad sessions where, in one case, he had to be hospitalized because I couldn't get him to even drink orange juice and he was semi-conscious.

Also, I have responsibilities I'm committed to in the occasional care of my grandchildren.

Also, most important for you, I am not CoC. Our church carries out all sorts of short-term missions which I have not been able to go on, because of these situations. Some in our Sunday School class just returned from a mission to Guatamala, driving buses down there for a church's use, and returning by air.

Two dear friends (and my new daughter-in-law) went to NYC last summer on a short-term mission. They were glowing when they returned.

I hope and pray that you find the workers. 'The fields are white already to harvest, but the workers are few'.
