I have just bought a secondhand Durst 1200 plus Ilford 500 Multigrade head. I am having great difficulty setting up the green/blue ratio following the Ilford Instruction book. Can anybody help?

I also purchased a second hand Ilford 500 head and had some troubles with the set up of the two lights. But the set up is ultimately not that important once you test the different grade settings. What in particular is your problem?
