BC is not in our paper but has been a favorite of mine for years. Don't know if it even exists any more.

Sorely missed is "Pogo" of Walt Kelly's strip.

Shoe used to be a favorite, but I think it's gone downhill, especially since its creator Jeff MacNelly passed away last summer. Nowadays I enjoy reading Tank McNamara for one-a-day gags, and Funky Winkerbean for stories mixed in with humor. Beetle Bailey, Hi and Lois, The Family Circus, Hagar the Horrible, Marmaduke, For Better or For Worse--they've all seen better days. Bizarro is witless. Peanuts should have been yanked from the comic strip pages when Schulz retired earlier this year--the comic strip died years ago.
