Jeffers (1-800-JEFFERS)is prompt and has good quality horse halters, etc. They also have a good selection of vet supplies, usually at a savings.

I second it for Jeffers. We have been ordering from them for years and they are great. Another co. I like to order from for other supplies, while not wholesale, they are great is New Pioneer Hardware. Phone 513-471-9NPH. I believe they also have a web site and they are very helpful. What kind of things in particular are you looking for?

I knew about most of these ,but you came up with a couple of new ones! I thought it would be nice to share all these money saving sites. Every penny counts!

I ordered vaccines, etc., from Jeffers just over a year ago in fairly cool weather, paid extra for a little cooler and ice pack, etc. I placed my order on a Thursday but requested it not be shipped until the following Monday so that it wouldn't have to sit in a warehouse somewhere. Although I had given them my address correctly, they got it mixed up with someone whose name is nothing like mine and my package went to Michigan--I'm in Missouri which should have been a snap for Jeffers--and finally UPS got it straight and sent to me. By then the package had been in transit about 11 days in warming weather. The ice pack was long since useless and I refused the shipment. Jeffers had a terrible time getting my address correct in their records and reshipping fresh goods to me, then there was the issue of the billing. We finally got it all straight--credit to them for their willingness to work things out to my satisfaction--but not before some of the ladies in the billing department and I got to be pretty good friends. I'm sure all businesses can have this problem at some time or another. Just be sure to refuse your package if there is the remotest possibility that your pharmaceuticals have degraded.

I have found Tractor Supply Co. to have low prices, adequate quality, and carry a big range of livestock supplies and machine parts or implements. Find them on the puter, I'm pack to escape to Florida so I don't have the address. Also there is a massive info site from the USDA, free, just punch in ATTRA on any search engine.

Nasco Farm & Ranch has just about everything for any type of livestock (www.eNASCO.com), and Omaha Vaccine is excellent also (www.omahavaccine.com).Both are very reasonably priced.
