I love the way that God works through everyone at Lutherhaven. I was there once for just 24 hours - 12 of those hours were sleeping and being with just our youth groups. By the time we left, I had been crying with 5 other girls from other towns because we didn't want to go! God works through us all - but you can feel Him when you are Camp Lutherhaven. What's MY favorite thing about camp? It's the music, the lake, the games, the camp outs, the trips to Micha Bay, the friendships, the life changing experiences, the camp fires, the worship, the food (yum!), the people - The God.

I don't know if any of you guys have been to re-group yet and if you don't know what it is, it is this awesome program they have for high- schoolers, and you have more bible studies and one on one time with counselors and all this great stuff. I had never felt more connected to God when I left and thanks to re-group and all those awesome counselors I still feel that way. Ask anyone who went to re-group. I can't wait till this summer! If you have any questions about it e-mail me!

My favorite thing is the way God works his love through the campers and the staff to make everyones week full of love and encouragement.

I really enjoy the challenge courses because I am constantly reminded that we encounter similar obsticles daily and that God gives us a choice on how to resolve the matter: we can sit and pout and pray that dinner comes soon so that we can get off this "stupid whale" or we can encourage someone, expand our mind, and finish quickly so that we can have extra swim time with the cute cabin next door. :) y-ea-ayh God!!!

Well, one of my new favorite things about camp is only a few weeks old! Camp now has a Zip Line! Woohoo! And man, it's awesome! It's at the top of the new climbing tower out in front of the Welcoming Center. Not sure if we'll all be able to use it this summer, but those of us that got to 'test' it out can all say that it's amazing! It'll be fun to see campers and counselors alike take a ride on that wild line.

P.S. The Pamper Pole is nice - I guess. ;)
