Health insurance. 170 000 cases late in North Finisthre
A good flu epidemic, computer problems and the installation of the universal health coverage the year 2000 has begun with a bang for the health insurance office (CPAM) in Finisthre. Today, the total number of cases that are late in being dealt with comes to 170,000. A situation that is "quite serious, but which is relative", according to the director, who says that the change in how cases are counted has multiplied their number. And he throws a good part of the responsibility onto the CNAM services, who according to him, are guilty of having given priority to creating jobs in departments that are less well-managed. He defends his results and reminds us that Brest, who had asked for 7 jobs to be filled, received none.
