Hi, all. I've been lurking without posting for a while, but thought I'd share with you the following E-mail correspondence I received today at work, FWIW. I'm editing out any identifying information:

There is a leap day issue. Some institutions have rolled over from 02/29 to 02/30 rather than rolling over from 02/29 to 03/01. We noticed it first on [XYZ Company] because they have international links in countries that have already passed midnight but I wanted everyone to be aware just in case you have some institutions do the same thing as we pass midnight across the U.S.A.

[Portion of data stream follows. Note date in bold.]:

Msg-type=0200 Bit-map=323A640128A19042 Proc code=012000 Tran amt=000000005000 Tran datetime=0230000505...

No follow-up messages were sent, so I'm not sure whether the problem has been fixed yet.

Just thought I'd pass it along. I'll report any further correspondence. Back to lurk mode...
