The first generating set of the Khmelnytskyy nuclear powerstation was halted at 2000 gmt on 22nd February, UNIAN reported.The stoppage was for a scheduled check on its emergency stoppagesystem, and the generating set is expected to be relaunched by25th February. The first generating set of the Zaporizhzhya nuclear powerstation, which is currently under repair, has been cleared ofused nuclear fuel, and there is no new fuel to be loaded. Lack of fuel has placed the current repairs to the secondgenerating set at the South-Ukrainian nuclear power station overtwo months behind schedule.
