Where's Pamie? In our hearts and thoughts...greenspun.com : LUSENET : Squishy : One Thread |
Well, Pamie, I don't think that I can express my missing you and your writing (well, I guess that your writing is all I really have of "you" in my life, but you know what I mean) and express my mental warm fuzzies that I send your way each day better than the countless others that have already on your forum....but I just wanted to say that not only does my day suck goats without reading your posts, but I'm doubly blue because you're hurting. I hope that just by saying how much your writing touches so many people, and makes us smile, laugh, and feel good - I hope that all of our posts here when you need some encouragement help you too, in some small way. You have touched so many people, and we are all in your corner.Wishing you sunshine to break through those clouds...

Count me in your corner.

Wow, Shelagh really summed up what I've wanted to say. Take care, Pamie. You're in our thoughts.

A good friend of mine noted at the end of an unexpected card, this closing remark. It brought me a smile. It was a "warm fuzzy". Although you don't know Deb or why her aforementioned phrases & salutations seem to put me in a feel-good sort of mood, I'll share this one with you."Walk in beauty."
Hoping you're feeling beautiful soon. That was about as much "inner beauty" stuff I can spout in a sitting. Just feel better, Pamie, and know we're all missing you & sending you our hopes that all will be well again.

I can only echo what Shelagh said.I've always been amazed at your talent and energy and wit -- Squishy, your acting, your monologues, your newspaper columns, etc., etc. -- you must have 30 hour days in Texas!
Hang in there Pamie, you've got hundreds of people thinking good thoughts for you!

There's a freaky-lookin' guy who walks around town here with an end- of-the-world-type placard which reads:"YOU LOOK WONDERFUL. EVERYTHING'S GOING TO BE ALL RIGHT."
Word.

You are a courageous, warm, funny, talented human being. I hope you will come through this difficult time even stronger and happier than before. In the meantime, don't let anyone tell you to "Snap out of it" - you will know best what you need and want and when.

pamie- i don't know what's going on with you right now, as i've had a little vacation at the lovely shoal creek mental hospital. if i've learned anything there, it's that medication is sometimes necessary, and there is no "right" answer for everyone. no matter how clever oprah sounds or how wise you mother comes across, only YOU know what YOU need. my thoughts go to you, as well as little hugs.

This is going to sound terribly selfish, but I really really miss Pamie! I started at the very beginning of her journal about two weeks ago, and today I finished reading her most recent entry. It was so sad that I have been in a real funk ever since. Pamie, as just one more person in the sea of people who have grown to care about you, take care and I sincerely hope everything works out for you. I'm sure it will, life has a funny way of doing that.

I'm dittoing what Shelagh said, and NOT just because she's one of my best friends in the whole wide world ;)Pamie, we all miss you tons and tons, but take whatever time you need, and just know that we're thinking of you, and hoping everything works out. It *always* does!
I don't know what's going on with you, but there's a few words of advice my mother gives me ALL the time, regardless of the situation. Sometimes it makes me feel better, and other times, it makes me kicking screaming mad, but it's *always* true: "Everything happens for a reason". And if you think long enough (this can take years, hehe), you can almost ALWAYS figure out what that reason is.
Love and Warm Thoughts, Jen
