Does the AME church have any ties with the Vodun religion of Africa? Are there members of the AME who practice the Vodun religion of Africa side by side with christianity?

I have to admit total ignorance of the Vodun religion Nickolas. Perhaps you could give me some insight into some of their beliefs and at the same time I will ask some of the A.M.E.s who are in Africa and who frequent this site for their viewpoint on your question.
