Name:The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald. URL: http://members.tripod.com/~elmomww/Fitzgerald.html. By Michigan Connections. Rating: *** Review: This site was wonderfully put together and an informative piece of work on the Edmund Fitzgerald. I even enjoyed listening to and singing along with the song "The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald", which was written by Gordon Lightfoot.

Name:Kahnawake kanien'keha:ka Culture. URL:http://www.odyssee.net/~crossman/kahlang.html, By the Kahnawake Culture Tribe.Rating *1/2Review: 'People of the Flint' or otherwise refered to as the Mohawk people were one of the last five nations of the Iroquois tribe. The other nations include Cayuga, Oneida, Onondaga and Seneca. The Mohawk tribe was located around the Great Lakes region for awhile. However, this site doesn't hold much significance in useful information to the class.

Name: Great Lakes Review URL: http://www.greatlakesphotos.com/ Rating*** Review: This site provides a good pictorial account of life on the Great Lakes. There are many pictures of lighthouses and vessels on the Great Lakes. The most interesting area of the site was a 'foul weather' link which illustrated the extreme conditions that may be found while traversing the Great Lakes.

Name Chautauqua Lake Watershed Conservancy URL http://www.netsync.net/users/chautwsh/index.htmlThis site, although not a great lake site, was interesting along with the links associated on the page. I have noticed that in class Chautauqua Lake has not been mentioned when dicussions about "the finger lakes" have gone on. This link was interesting, and the links contained in it were as well. I rate it 5 stars worth of information.

www.geocities.com/Baja/Dunes/6917/This was my favorite site. It is the Great Lakes/Great Sites Award Site. It's author isn't named, but can be reached at paul.bunyan@usa.net. This site contains links to some of the best sites out there for Great Lakes communities, cultural environments, and activities going on around the Great Lakes region. It listed sites for general information as well as specific. Sites containing information on historical societies, museums, lighthouses, landmarks and libraries can be found on this website. I was also able to send friends digital postcards through one of the links. This site would be very helpful if one wanted to find out more about the cultural aspects of the Great Lakes Region.****
